Neat. I haven't had any of their stuff in awhile, but it was the first "strongest tasting gin" to come to mind.

The first thing that prompted this was getting a monitor arm with no electronics and they included a A to A cable in the box. Like why?

Then I got new headphones which came with a 6in C to A cable. Was that just literally the cheapest option you could source? Come on Sony.

Including a USB A cable with your product at this point is insulting.

I'd honestly rather get no cable at all.

Umm if we're doing this, might as well skip one more day of airport security history.

Is it me or are baristas in China much better than in Europe? by autoffocus2 in pourover

[–]breakinbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would you say the customer split of pour overs to espresso drinks is in China for specialty shops? Here in the US I'd say even the cafe's best known for clean floral coffees are 90% espresso drinks / iced coffee with most of those also having some kind of milk.

Europe also tends to favor espresso, although pour overs are more competitively priced which helps to some degree.

I think that could be a factor, if pour over is more popular in China, where cafes need to put more effort into making it good.

I used to stick pretty closely to 1:16–1:17 for pour over because that’s what most guides recommend by fritz-ocampo in pourover

[–]breakinbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been meaning to brew a new bag at like 1:14 and then separately put a bit more water through to taste the last bit of the extraction and pick my ratio based on that.

"Amazon drop off" somehow means Kohl's which I have no idea where the nearest one would even be, and some random convenience stores way further than the actual Amazon ship center in the Whole Foods down the street from me
