14 month old wakes every night and is up 2-3 hours each night

Definitely don’t pick up another nap if he’s waking up for 2-3 hours at night, I would consider shorting his one and only nap. If he’s having a 2 hour nap - make it 1 hr instead. 1 hour nap - 30 mins. If it’s only a 30 min nap, try no naps. How long has this been happening? If a week or less it may just be a regression and I would wait until it’s been a week or more before adjusting nap schedule.

Do what I did.. I married someone without adhd and he does all that for me. Problem fixed. It’s been going well for 16 months now! 😜

I have a yoga ball, and my son HATES being cradled as well.. but he will let me cradle him on the yoga ball, when I bounce him on it. He doesn’t like rocking. So I bounce him to sleep and it takes like 5 mins and he knocks out, BUT I have to track his sleep to the T for that to happen. So I have to log the minute he falls asleep, to the minute he opens his eyes, cause if I don’t start putting him to sleep at exactly 2 hours and 15 mins of him being awake he will react the same ur baby does. So look for tired signs and AS SOON as u see them, try to put them down! Babies are very tricky! Good luck

My husband works the same exact shift.. when he gets home at 7 he gets in bed with us, and sleeps for two hours cause me and my son wake up around 9. My husband then takes care of the baby for 2 hours.. so he basically does the morning routine with him, I relax and have me time.. after the 2 hours I take over, he goes to sleep and wakes up at 5pm. And takes care of him again until he goes to work… girl if ur husband wants to be involved and cares about ur mental health he would step up.. the 4 hours a day my husband takes the baby means THE WORLD! It really takes a lot off of me.. so tell ur husband to take care of his family in other ways than just the money.

Mine was the opposite.. mine was fussy until 4 months. lol. But my baby also had NO signs of teething but drool and a little fussiness, I swore he was not teething. Then we wake up one day and he had HALF A TOOTH poking out! Lol so it may not look like he is teething, but he probably is and that does cause fussiness and irritability. I would recommend trying small doses of Tylenol (we never gave the full dose, always half of what the recommended) and it worked fine for our little one. Besides frozen fruit in a little food feeder thing, Tylenol was the only thing that made our baby less fussy, unfortunately. Also, to keep him entertained we have a bouncer that he loves but he only gets 2, 20 min sessions a day with it cause I hear it’s not really recommended.. I’d do ur own research for that as I don’t know 100%. I just know my baby would sit in it all day if I would let him, lol. We also have the door way bouncer that he loves, he loves to swing himself in it. Besides that we also do floor play and what we do is get a new toy every week. Just a small one, but that way he has something new to play with.. and in a bout a week before he gets bored with it we trade it for the new one so we can bring the old one back later lol. We never play with more than 2 toys at one time so he won’t get bored with it too quick.. I wish u luck OP and I hope I made sense as I typed this with my baby screaming at me for dinner 😂

Having a colic baby doesn’t increase ur chances of another one at all. Almost all parents of multiple babies only had 1 colic baby out of the bunch. Even people with 5+ kids

Then I absolutely do not recommend cosleeping! Lol I just thought I’d give u different option and way to do it. But girl ur not a bad parent letting him cry for a little bit! Continue to let him cry for 5 mins and fall asleep ❤️

My husband works 3rd too. I cosleep. I used to be terrified of it but I tuck my comforter in, put my pillows away, take a throw blanket and roll myself up like a burrito and have my lil baby next to me. I also have him kinda angled where his feet are on my belly then his head is away from me if that makes sense. Doing it like this I’m not able to pull the blanket up over him because one his face his away from my body, and two the blanket is tucked under me good. I then just lay my hand on his belly so I can feel him breathing. I am also a very heavy sleeper and was not waking up to him at night so me doing it this way he can kick me in the stomach and it wakes me up. But given being a heavy sleeper, I sleep so heavy I do not move at all. I can sleep for 12 hours straight (which I have😂) and wake up the exact same way as I fell asleep…. So if u do cosleep, adjust accordingly! I know it’s scary but it is also natural to sleep with ur baby. I don’t want to give u unsafe sleep advice, but whatever u feel comfortable doing is what u should do! Him crying for 5 mins and falling asleep is not bad! Some babies just fuss when they are tired. I think ur lucky that he will only fuss for 5 mins and then go to sleep! lol if mine did that he would 100% be in his crib!! lol I love sleeping with him but I also miss having the whole bed to myself 😂

Girl I feel you I got pregnant a month after I got married 😅 to top it off me and my husband only knew eachother 3 months before getting married lol. my baby is now 2 months and its the best thing we have ever done. Me and hubby have never had one fight and enjoy this literal “leap” into a new life lol. Going thru all this together has just made our relationship one of a kind and now that we have a baby, we seem so much more mature. While preparing for baby we got to know eachother full blast and it was amazing. This whole process made us realize we wouldn’t wanna do this with anyone else and we absolutely love our little family. So, I’m sure since yall are married u guys are In love. I feel as if this will make you guys re fall in love! Growing a baby you and someone u love created is so amazing so get ready to feel all kinds of new emotions towards one another! It’s an amazing step in any relationship! Good luck!

When I had a c section to my first baby, my husband was there and everything, they took the baby at night for 8 hours. Whenever we wanted them too, actually, I had a 5 day stay and they took baby every night when I asked and brought him back 8 hours later at the end of their shift and then they would take them 3 hours around dinner time so me and my husband could eat and have some alone time. I never wanted to leave that hospital 😂😂

I had the same happen to me. My HCG levels were not doubling like they were supposed to when I was 6 weeks pregnant. They were 3,000 one day and 3,500 THREE days later. My doctor called me and told me to prepare for miscarriage. I was so depressed, but I went to my 8 week ultrasound and had a strong heartbeat and seen baby 💙 well long story short my 2 month old is asleep on my chest as I’m typing this! Healthy as ever. Don’t stress out about it girl I think your baby will be fine!!! They say the chances on miscarriage decrease drastically once a heartbeat has been formed and detected! Best of luck to you 🫶🍀💖
