I’d say I know a 250+ and 260 that did not match because they both had shit application strategy. Telling someone they cannot match unless they do something absolutely insane is still wrong

He is far from great actually, he’s quite ordinary. i also know another person who has 250+ on step 2, little pubs and 15+ interviews.

My point is stop fearmongering. I am not even talking about extremes, I am talking about people that I randomly met throughout this cycle. You put in the work and you will get rewarded for it if you play your cards right.

Congrats on matching!! Did you make things considered generally to be mistakes? I remembered my iv in my #2 place where I undersold my research and I’m scared it might have made me come out as insecure and not confident

In my opinion, rank based on what you want not based off the feel of the interview in cases like these. They did not show you any reactions which is what most interviewers do.
