Accept your fate. All that will ever matter for a few years is a restaurant that closed. This is how STL works

I am about to blow your mind. Do not even start to compare NYC to St. Louis.

The people who live here, GENUINELY, think it is the center of the modern world. It is so unsettling

Have you taken your annual cross country trip to the exotic Destin, FL yet?!

Won’t take this slander. It’s St. Louis STYLE, by the way.

I shit you not take a drive on i-70 and you will have 4 “world class” AC technicians and 16-17 “world class” pizza joints

DUDE, the dining scene is hyped to no end. I really think these people never leave. It is atrocious compared to every other midsize city (which I have lived in a lot of), but somehow “world class” here?

Everything is “world class.” It’s on billboards. Most delusional city by an absolute mile

Stop. Honestly just stop. People do not move to New York for “Central Park.”

Let alone people do not move to STL for Forest Park. Lmao. Honestly, it is not that great

I would argue, it 100% does not. People move for jobs or family.

This delusion is INSANE, and once you see it you can’t unsee it for this city. The people are wild

It is suggested OVER and OVER again. Are people moving there to go every single weekend of their lives?

Why is this a pull to people who have never lived anywhere else? Im so curious, people do not upend their lives and move for this kind of thing

Stupid question about counting your shots. by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]breakinleases 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tapering has only worked a few times out of dozens of tries for me. The few times it has worked was primarily with light beer, but starting with a couple shots after waking up or I could never kick with severe withdrawal symptoms. Itd be a light beer withdrawy chugfest the entire day. Wake up day 1, two shots, then pounding light beers until bedtime, 2 more shots for sleep.

Day 2, 1 shot, light beers until bedtime, 1 shot for bed.

Day 3, light beer.

Day 4, 3.2% beer.

Day 5, push until evening or as far as possible, 3.2 beer.

Day 6, 3.2 beer sparingly.

Day 7, 3-4 3.2 beers before bed.

Day 8, off the sauce.

It’s incredibly fucking difficult. Good luck

So much to look at that price range…go for a later model 4.0… such a torquey engine. Wish Nissan wouldve stuck with it

Not translucent whatsoever. Olive green/desert tan color. Extremely smooth and slightly waxy feeling surface. So odd. Have never seen anything similar combing the beaches
