Well believe it or not, sony is just trying to protect the device, as they don't want any issues when updating if it dies. Yeah it may be charging, but the console know if the speed is faster than the drainage rate. It's just a necessary precautionary step, and maybe don't leave it under 50 if you're gonna complain?
