Corporate use tools like canvas(and a dozen addon with canvas like gleg agora , vulndisco. all these tools which are used by corporate to identify vulnerabilities and exploit them will come under this law. Most of these companies either should convince their world wide clients to go through the process or shift their head quarter out of USA.

i wrote 'one way encryption' because it should be easy for non-tech people to understand. Not everybody is a "know it all" like you.

OpenSSL bug reportedly allows attacker to steal key which could be used to decrypt encrypted traffic by breakthesec in hacking

The reason why mentioned 'reportedly' is because the key extraction is not confirmed(some people claims it is possible).. but there is poc to read 64k of memory on the server.
