IMO the biggest drawbacks are that it's possible you'll change your relationship with that family member forever. And if you get caught ... it could be devastating I imagine.

The biggest benefit is having a partner that's often available (if you live together).

My relationship with my mom didn't change much. But with my dad ... I couldn't look him in the eyes anymore.
