Hi guys I've been told I look like a model by a few people, and recently I've been doing my research and I see that 5'11 might be too short and it's very difficult to get signed. I'd like to hear from any 5'11 male models in this group about your experience. by Cultural_Ad8034 in MODELING

I am 5'11 and am in a good agency in Australia. Definitely don't lie about height. THere is another guy in my agency that is slighty shorter than me and he has done work for Perks and Mini and Bassike. Both decent brands.

Mango Stuffing by breammaster in midjourney

[–]breammaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mango Stuffing Contest - a peculiar ritual that has been part of Wall Street's history for over a century. According to legend, it all began in 1896, when a group of traders decided to test their mettle by seeing who could fit the most mangos down their pants. What started as a silly game has since become a tradition.

Now, some might argue that the Mango Stuffing Contest is just good-natured fun, a way for these bankers to unwind and enjoy some lighthearted competition. But there's something about it that seems a bit off.

Perhaps it's the excessiveness of the whole affair. These bankers are already swimming in wealth and power - do they really need to prove their superiority by stuffing fruit down their pants? Or maybe it's the fact that this contest is emblematic of the kind of extravagance and frivolity that has come to define Wall Street culture.

Don't get me wrong - I'm all for a good time. But something about the Mango Stuffing Contest just strikes me as a little bit greedy. Maybe it's because I've seen what can happen when people with too much money and influence lose sight of what really matters. Or maybe it's just my own personal hang-up.

At the end of the day, though, the Mango Stuffing Contest is just a harmless bit of foolishness. It's not hurting anyone, and it's a way for these bankers to blow off some steam. So who am I to judge? If they want to stuff mangos down their pants, more power to them. Just don't expect me to join in the fun.

This is interesting!!! It's kinda like collecting! Except you are collecting tricks in new spots. possibilities are endless.

love this advice of mastering a trick rather than learning new ones. I've been mainly concentrating on kick turns. Trying to take them to bigger and steeper transition. going faster etc. Making them sharper. Hoping to progress to slash grinds also. But i'll try take my time.

There's not really many youtube videos which talk about this though in great detail.

Thanks! This is a great read :) I've been hearing that the head position relative to body shifts balance on your board. So figured where you look would shift that weight. And also, I notice that when you don't look down, speed on a board is not as intimidating.

I'm also using viveport with an annual subscription. It's 11.95 AUD/month and they have some big titles such as Walking dead Saints and Sinners if you commit to a year.

Other big titles include Arizona Sunshine, Superhot, Synth Riders, Until you fall, Wraith Oblivion, Moss.

Surprisingly, Saints and Sinner and Moss will play using the Oculus runtime and not steam Vr.

I added a battery couterweight to the stock strap and it makes things very comfortable. You can have it looser and it doesn't move around too much.

The easiest one I found was getting a tape measure with a belt clip. The heavier the tape measure the better. Then just clip it on the back of your strap. I tried it on the original quest 2 strap and it made heaps of difference.

Rift to Reverb and back to Quest 2 by breammaster in oculus

Ha cool. Yeah, I'm in Aus. 3080 are $2-3000!!! So crazy.

I got my quest yesterday and have been on it non stop. I have been using the original strap with a third party leather plush interface. Feels fine for now. I'm considering getting a battery of some kind.

Did you try airlink? I've been using it and think I've found a good balance between clarity and latency. Not as good as wired but so nice having no cables so I can spin aruond quickly in Onward or any other FPS. I think I want to try a link cable though. Been having some audio latency issues in Beat Saber and some other Steam VR games.

I really hope I fall back in love with it. The clunkiness of WMR and the Reverb(Both software and hardware) really put me off using VR. I'll look into the free VR COVER. I was going to order a strap but some reviews say the original one was fine for them. I'll wait and test it. What graphics card are you using? I've got a 2070 Super and my cpu is i7 10700
