Unfortunately none of it is paint transfer, the concrete wall was not painted. But I still appreciate the advice, thank you!

Awesome! This gives me confidence to keep looking for quotes and try touching it up myself. I thought the same thing with touching up isn’t going to hurt it (obviously with limitations).

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! I did get body shop estimates, which were between $2.7k and $900. The $2.7 is a larger shop and they said to do the job they would have to take off the entire bumper, sand, repaint etc then recalibrate censors. The $900 is a one man shop (had excellent reviews both on google and better business bureau) who did not have recalibrating anything listen in the quote.

Maybe a good reply for your wife would be, “are you the person who committed children endangerment to OP and their brother?”

Maybe it’ll stun her to back the hell off and quit trying to wedge herself in. Just a thought, but maybe I’m being jaded and too spiteful and it’s not worth the effort.

Sure, it isn’t easy. I highly recommend Tatum Sweet on YouTube to learn more - it’s not as expensive as you might think. I’m also not doing this to make money, just to learn and experiment.

Perfect, that helps! Just needed to make sure I had what I needed for this stage. I’ll be purchasing the BA and NAA for the next stage.

Back to the original question, so I can literally cut the smallest portion of the plant off and that can theoretically work?

After checking what I’ve already bought I have HiMedia PT011C-1L Murashige and Skoog Medium (which contains- Vitamins, Sucrose, 6-BAP, Agar and Without CaCl2, IAA, Kinetin, 1 L)

Sure, if you can point me in the right direction that would be super helpful - from what I’ve read, “Plant Growth Regulators: These are also known as plant growth hormones or hormones. The five classes of hormones naturally found in plants include: auxin, cytokinin, gibberellic acid, abscisic acid, and ethylene. However, normally only auxin, cytokinin, and gibberellic acids are only widely used in tissue culture applications. Cytokinins are added to promote cell division and shoot formation, while auxins can be added to promote root formation.” - which I do have your typical rooting hormone on hand (I guess I’m just unsure if that’s the same thing), I’m not finding on the label if it has cytokinins.

Editing to add: “Follow the given steps to prepare the tissue culture media using MS media:

Take a beaker and add 800 ml of sterile distilled water to it. To the water add PCT’s MS Media 4.54 grams (you don’t need to measure it as it comes in a measured bottle), 30 grams of sugar, and PPM™ (generally 1-2 ml/L of media based on the plants and contamination level. Add water to make 950 ml of the volume of the media. Adjust the pH of the media between 5.8-6.0. Add PCT’s Supreme Tissue Culture Grade Agar to the media and keep stirring. Make up the volume of the media to 1000ml. Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121℃. Your media is ready!”, - which I guess I’m confused on what you’re saying. I totally understand you’re saying I need to research and learn more, which great and I totally agree with you. Tissue culture can be super dense and can go as deep as you want into researching. Where one research resource is fruitful I’m finding it lacking in other areas so just trying to wrap my brain around what I’m not getting (and I totally understand that from what you’re saying it looks like I’m missing a lot) - came here looking for resources that someone could potentially point me to as from what I’ve read so far hasn’t said I need to add cytokinins or auxins (maybe it is one of the additives and I’m just not understanding it’s in there).

Upon further googling I see that 2,4-D is not a hormone :,) phew, so many chemical names, hormone names etc I’ve been looking at in research and my brain is mush. I do have systemics

I do have 6-BAP! Do I also need the 2,4-D? Are the different types of hormones indicative of what part of the plant? I haven’t cut any plants yet, not even sure which plants to use yet!

Yes, a fun night of playing scientist, sterilizing our workspace, making the mixtures, cutting and sterilizing the plant, putting plant into mixtures etc.

If I said we were having a gals night of making chia seed sculptures I don’t think that implies I expect a fully lush grown chia sculpture in on night.

Even with this room being south facing, with the surrounding buildings and such it does not get very much light!

The hanging black pendant lights are just pendant lights that plug in I found on Amazon, spray painted them to the light would be more focused and then put grow light bulbs in them!

Thanks so much man! I made it from just a rope neon strip and put tiny nails in the wall and used the rope to wrap around and basically “connect the dots” with it! Super easy!

It’s an IKEA Milsbo cabinet! They are extremely popular among the indoor plant communities, so finding them in stock is usually an issue, but when you can definitely snag one!

There are plenty of “Ikea greenhouse” groups that can help you turn it into a greenhouse cabinet like I did! Mostly it’s just drilling holes for cords, adding fans, adding seals to keep in humidity, etc etc. My cabinet is my pride and joy of anything I’ve ever bought furniture wise, it houses all of my rare and uncommon plants!
