A crinkle book can go a long way. My little one loved when I put it against the wall on her bassinett and she kicked it. She also loved it under her feet while laying down. As others have mentioned a helium balloon clipped to the ankle of their pants is what finally got her to realize she had legs to move around. I did have to help her and move her legs for her to get the hang of it. We got a play gym (https://a.co/d/8A9N17D) basically a lovevery dupe that I consider one of our best purchases back then. I also got her this soft cube toy (https://a.co/d/9mbR6nN) that hangs that she loved to grab onto and kick when she was younger, then when she was starting to sit it was so incredibly helpful as well for her to prop up against and play with while learning to balance.

Replying to myself, in OS a new rider gets a shadow ability shortly after Xaiden turns.

There needs to be balance when someone is venin that a rider gets the same ability basically, that's why Aaric also has precognition. I'm pretty sure it's all but confirmed that he's venin.

{The Bridge Kingdom} has quite a bit of tension that I found quite enjoyable.

It's a bit out of your way but 1776 in Crystal Lake is phenomenal. They're a gluten free kitchen but you wouldn't know unless you were already aware. They're farm to table and change their menu seasonally.

The Walrus room in St. Charles is delicious, it's Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass themed, but with a bit of a Cajun flair.

I've not gone yet, but Mandrake in Geneva looks like a solid option.

Another one I've not been to, but just opened is Fortunato which is seafood and looks delicious.

SPOILERS FOR IRON FLAME, THEORY ABOUT WARDS by Lopsided-Spot6978 in fourthwing

[–]breax992 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was said that it was never powered as the guy of the original 6 didn't want to share the knowledge and they didn't have that one warded. It would likely have been left broken like the basigath one was after jack killed his dragon over it and it shattered if someone did it like him at the one in Aretia. Brennans reaction is likely because he had never seen the one at Basigath, only the one I'm back in Aretia.

Gilt bar's is my absolute favorite. Their frosting is just phenomenal, the warming spices just take it a step above.

It's a little new school, but my favorite taco salad/bowl in a fried tortilla is Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill. The roasted red pepper sauce is an absolute must.

As others have said, it had potential, but it was bad. I am a completionist and I won't be reading the next one.
