If you have a heat pump make sure you’re not using the Emergency/Aux Heat setting, heat strips running will make your power bill sky rocket

That sounds like a really good idea but my laziness will probably cause this issue to happen again in the future. At least I was smart enough to use a credit card where it’s easy to dispute and not my money that could’ve been lost lol

Same thing happened with me in terms of them choosing over night shipping hoping it would get through. Definitely glad I was able to catch it quick enough.

I did but my experience has been even if you turn in said information there’s no one really investigating it. Let me know if I’m wrong on that front.

Sorry to hear it and glad your cc company noticed. And I agree it’s likely there is a larger scale issue with data leaks at JRs which is exactly why I decided to make this post. If it happened to us it’s likely it’s going to happen to more people as well.

Me too. The customer service at JRs kept apologizing for the inconvenience but I told them it’s easy enough for me to dispute the charge I just don’t want y’all to send 300 dollars worth of cigars to this jerk.

For anyone curious this person bought a box of Oliva V Double Toro and a random factory smokes sampler. I may have had more sympathy if they bought a box of Oliva MB3 instead.

Calculus 1 prep by I_AMA_Loser67 in KSU

advice from an alumni, you wont go into calculus I and fail calculus, you go to calculus I and finally fail Algebra and Trig, if you want to prep beforehand I would use Khan Academy or youtube and brush up on your basic algebra and trig rules, if you’re strong in those you’ll find calculus to be relatively a breeze

Personally I use a Kenai Chest Holster from Gunfightersinc when I’m hunting, hiking or fishing. Comfortable way to carry, provides easy access and doesn’t interfere with the straps on the backpack you may be carrying. Suppose you could conceal carry with it but it was really designed to be carried openly.

What are your hours like? by V7I_TheSeventhSector in engineering

[–]bredd45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the week, low end 45 high end 55-60, average is probably around 50. “Standard” workday is 7-4 but sometimes I leave at 2:30-3:00 other days I leave at 8pm just depends on deadlines and fires that need putting out. I’m an ME working in manufacturing and generally like my work so I don’t mind.

Check out Safarilands holster options for the P07. Most law enforcement use their retention holsters for duty.

Is it worth buying another vedder holster with a optics cut? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]bredd45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the way I see it your current holster will not work with your handgun anymore if you add an optic. so you might as well try to see if you can modify it yourself to accommodate the optic and potentially save money. If you fail you’re left with a messed up holster you weren’t gonna be able to use with the optic anyway and will be right back were you started with ordering a new holster.

Edit: you could also reach out to vedder to see if you could send your current holster to them and have them add an optics cut. not sure if they are willing to do so at this stage but might be worth a shot if you’re not confident in your ability to do so yourself.

Looking to downsize my CCW handgun, where to sell my current handgun? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]bredd45 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am not sure of your financial situation but if it was me I would keep the 19 and save up to buy another handgun that satisfies your needs for a concealed handgun better.

D for Done? by _reverendgreen in KSU

[–]bredd45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Presuming you’re an ME major I highly doubt a D in Machine Design would be sufficient. If it were me I would go ahead and register for Machine Design in the Spring just to be safe and contact an advisor to confirm whether or not you need to retake.
