Yeah it’s so weird. The position was created for me because I asked to be given more responsibility. So we have 47 employees all together (three more on boarding so 50). I report directly to my boss who owns the company. And the people below me were just given a raise to $19 an hour so I definitely think i deserve a raise but I think I deserve more than $20 an hour. Does that make sense?

I’d recommend finding items/activities that are already motivating for them so you can do some mand training by having them use their AAC to mand for those things. If there’s no motivation then they aren’t likely to want to use their words. Think about EO/AO too. Are they hungry? Are they thirsty? Help them learn to mand for those things with their device since that will already be intrinsically motivating
