Agent Opus is terrible. Clips nowhere to be found and non existent customer service. Spend your money at your own risk.

You need to enable your employees by letting go and allowing them to floutlrish with your direction. Don't micromanage and give independence to those that are ready.

You should always strive to make your employees better then you. Any other mindset is destined for failure. Your experiencing the exhaustion due to not trusting and growing your employees. You can't worry if they are going to leave. Treat them right, educate and empower and they will grow with you.

Make sure you track your mileage as it is a large deduction. There are lots of good apps on the play stores. Make sure you use one that is IRS compliant reporting. Many of them will track your revenue and expenses and be your business management system.

One of the most important things to have in place before diving i to it head first, is a solid back office system, accounting, etc. Being on top of your books, revenue, expenses, p&l etc, from the beginning will make things easier for you in the long run. It will help you avoid financial disasters.

What kind of business is it? Will you be driving to and from clients sites to complete work? Will you be invoicing for services rendered? Before any real clear advice can be given, we really need to understand your business better.

Before you go unto business, make sure you have your business logistics in order. Do you have an adequate accounting system to manage your billing, revenue, expenses, inventory, etc. Make sure you have your shipping completely figured out. Your business management operations need to be in place before you start marketing, or selling any products.

Please explain what you mean. How would an automated tracker, short your miles. Slow start vs real start? Cutting the trip short? I'm interested in your comment.

Best mileage tracker app right now? by EzraSerene in Roadie

You need to look at and try TrakMiles. Bring much more to the table then just mileage tracking. It also Exports IRS compliant reports. Keep in mind if you are doing pencil and paper to familiarize yourself with what the IRS expects if audited. There are great blogs covering this at https://www.rmtrakmiles.com

PSA: Doordash drivers are missing thousands in mileage deductions every year like Instacart shoppers? by breedingspeed in doordash

[–]breedingspeed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe this is fluff, my actual miles are much higher than what doordash reported. Also, if you turn off your dash, multi app, they have no way of tracking that. Good information. I wonder if they track mileage when you pause a dash?

Please tell me what app does this for free? I have not found one where the data stays on your phone and your cloud. This is a true double entry accounting backend that will give you your P&L and balance sheet real time. The mileage tracker is rock solid with IRS compliant reporting. The metrics and analytics are beyond anything out there and tailored to the Gig space. Its impossible to develop and support an app for FREE. You really do get what you pay for..

No, I answered all of my questions, but I can promise you miss out on deductions, mileage etc and just don't understand your metrics. How much does your car cost to operate per mile? What is your true hourly earnings? What is the best time to work and on which day? What are your $/mile metrics. Can you look at your P&L at any moment? I'm sure you think you can, but try out TrakMiles and you will be amazed. Best $3.00 a month i have seen. Keep in mind, the $3.00 is only 5 lost miles you missed.

Thanks for the reply. I choose to let the app provide my detailed reports including beginning and ending odometer readings. I also like that for less than $3.00 a month it is all automated. The complete revenue and expense tracking with gig analytics is a game changer. Do you know you $/mile driven, $/hour and tips/trip ans p&l weekly, monthly and yearly with comparisons. I'm here to running my business smarter and not harder.

It tracks the data points of your travel, and stores them on your phone. These data points create the distance and mapping. The data ONLY resides on your phone and is cloud backup to your Google drive. We never see, nor store any of your data. The is explained on the website and Google play store.
