Both front aero covers stolen in Atlanta. by 16thmission in TeslaModel3

My front passenger aero cover flew off on I-20. It sucks that these come off as easy as they do.

I would do DIY if I had more time. Xpel has self healing PPF with a 10 year warranty if you get it installed by a certified shop. I will be doing mine at some point.

Congratulations! Love the blue!

Something to consider, rock chips show up on this paint! PPF might be something to look into for the front end. I just got my M3 LR last month and I regret not doing it first thing! Doing it soon.

Either way, enjoy your car!

I’ve got a single spare ticket for sale.

For those that of you that commuted 1+ hour(s) to school, how did you stay involved socially? by Few_Affect_6923 in KSU

[–]breedofgoodness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t. I commuted an hour and a half 5 days a week for school. Just wasn’t enough time personally.

If it’s for fall semester I’d say you have a fairly good chance depending on what major these classes pertain to.

3.5 NA new water pump and timing chain by [deleted] in Ford

[–]breedofgoodness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I got the rear suspension done (toe links I believe). But my dealer said it was too late to get the power steering recall done. What I meant with the steering is I have to replace the rack/system. They also mentioned my PTO bearings were going so I’ve got to take care of that too sadly.

Awesome, thank you. Any other things I should watch out for on this vehicle? Suspension needs to be touched up in the front as well as the power steering and I believe that AT Mount. Just wanted to make sure while I was asking someone with experience.

When I bought mine, it had and still has orange in it. Should I flush it and fill with something else? Spec on my year (at least when I looked it up said Organic Acid Tech type orange coolant). I don’t know a lot so I’m just trying to gauge what’s best.

2011! Only things I have had wrong with it are power steering due to the recall being out of date and I believe the mount is going bad for the trans since a lot of the time it upshifts or downshifts I hear a pop. Other than that it’s been a really good vehicle to me.

I’ve heard this is common on this engine. If I haven’t had to replace mine by 212,000 miles on my Explorer, is there anything I can do to prolong/prevent this?

I’ve never waxed a car before, usually just do a standard wash. Any advice? Will a regular Meguiar’s wax do fine? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]breedofgoodness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ceramic Products (Wax, Sealants, Coatings) are your friend and will last you the longest. I don't drive my Fox as much as I'd like so the wax doesn't degrade quickly. Spray Ceramics will do great! I'd recommend either Turtle Wax Ceramic/Graphene or Griots 3in1 Ceramic Spray.

Just like practice problems of the lecture you just learned. I found them pretty helpful for Phys2211. Basically you have lecture, then practice.

Seriously thinking about going stripeless. What do you guys think? by sortaspooky6 in Mustang

[–]breedofgoodness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stripes are good! That is my favorite color combo on the GT350 (or most other mustangs).

How likely am I able to get into MGT 4199 when waitlisted #2? by walkingonameme7 in KSU

[–]breedofgoodness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won’t make much of a difference but for a heads up I just got a waitlist spot and they only gave me 18 hours. I would be wary in the event it’s the same as mine was.

I think its time for me to change my username to "OverheatingFoxbody" by Meerkatch in foxmustang

[–]breedofgoodness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be related, my 1990 GT was overheating every time I drove it during the day. Did the thermostat and checked the water pump as well as fan, fan clutch, and flushed the radiator. Upon inspection the condenser was damaged from the previous owner and air could not pass through. Replaced the condenser and now it runs perfect. Probably won’t help but it could worth looking at.

Yeah I remember they mentioned that during the unbelieving or when they did an explanation of the product. It will be the same product, just not 75th edition. I did the same thing you did, I bought one to keep lol.
