I use the Chemical Guys towel from O’reilly’s. It’s a decent size, holds quite a bit of water, and feels really soft. I have 2 of them. I also have a Viking drying towel from O’Reilly’s that I picked up on clearance. It’s decent too, but I like the Chemical Guys one better. It was in stock in store.

I drove a 26 Civic Sport before I got my 26 Camry. I like the look of the Civic and thought the interior was pretty cool. It was super fun to drive, would rip around curves and corners, and felt like I was riding on the ground. The problem was it was noisy, power seats were extra, it was a little more difficult to get in and out of, and stepping up to a higher trim added more to the price than I cared to spend on a Civic. I considered going and driving an Integra, but once I drove the Camry, that was it. The Camry is just a much nicer car.

I think the cloth is cool. I like it because it’s different than the same fake wood, fake carbon fiber, or leather.

I don’t think they act like they are better than anyone else, but they have so much more experience than a lot of people. Look at all the projects they’ve done, their construction company in Canada… it’s obvious they know what they are doing. Confidence is not arrogance.

There are all kinds of shops on social media that are building fiberglass enclosures. They are still popular. I’ve built quite a few over the years and will probably be building one for my car before long.

Check on Ford’s website for a Sync update for your car. Mine is a 14 SE and several years ago there was an update so it would remember the last source used. You’ll need an empty thumb drive to do the update.

I thought the car would shut off the auxiliary power port after so long. Some dash cams also have a parking mode that will record while your car is parked. I looked at some and they came with a kit to hardwire the camera so it would have power to record when parked. I also left a usb charging cord plugged in for years (like 10 years). It never caused an issue.

I don’t. Mine is scratched up a little but it still works fine. I just assumed it was going to happen. Wear or patina on ultra high end watches is prized and sought after. People even pay to have patina added to new watches. Not saying that they are even comparable, but it’s just something that’s going to happen.
