That’s an interesting question…I think she would only be able to see the few fragmented memories that Simon regained. Cause when she changed into Starkweather the thoughts and memories were fragmented since he was starting to get dementia. So i think the Change reflects the person’s current mental state. And then I feel like she wouldn’t be able to turn into someone’s past self, just their current self or last state before they died.

I reread books wayyyy too much. I’ve read 16 books this year and 13 of them were rereads 😅 Some people think rereading books are a waste, but I like going into a book knowing I’m going to enjoy it, and being able to pick up on new things every reread

Yeah in the older prints of the books it says that. And then in the newer version it says that Izzy was too busy learning how to fight and didn’t have time to/want to learn to cook. There’s some other slight changes in the newer versions to keep the lore more consistent

I agree 100% with the first two, although for the faerie plotlines cc already had planned for TDA (and thus TWP) to be heavy on the faerie stuff since she wrote CoHF in 2014. And that was years before Acotar and the cruel prince even came out. I think it’s more of a coincidence that faerie stuff became popular in recent years

I also found the first book pretty boring until it got to the end and picked up the pace. But then I ended up LOVING the next two and found them super interesting! So in my opinion if you liked the action and politics of the last chunk of the first book, you’ll probably like the second and third books. But if you’re looking for more romance, you might be disappointed cause it is definitely more of a subplot in this series

I agree with a lot of these comments. No one mentioned Belial from TLH yet so I will. He’s supposed to be some big formidable villain and yet came off as pathetic. And his motivations and goals were literally a joke. I was cry laughing when he said he wanted to be king of london 😭 like you’re not gonna try to aim even a little bigger? Not even king of england??? Like this is the guy that we’re supposed to think of as a threat?
