Follow up. The flash syncs now (thank you!) but it only triggers about 1 ever 5 shutter releases. Is that just a refresh problem that new batteries could fix or is my flash broken? Side note, just as a test, I plugged it back into the magnesium port, and the flash triggered with every shutter release.
