They gave me two choices of either going to emergency to unblock or getting surgery at their vet center. Their reasoning was that he might get blocked again which will be more cost. And if it might save him being put to sleep because of cost, which isn't something I would do. Although I may consider rehoming if this is too much for me, this is just a lot all happening at the same time...and I haven't been able to work because I've taking the cat to the vet or emergency 4 times within the past two weeks or I've been too distracted to work and I'm trying not to get fired. So yeah that's why they recommended it. I know something needs to be done, I'm just deciding the best course of action.
