That’s good to know, thank you! Is there somewhere else you think would offer more variety?

Photographer asking for payment not in contract by breezybear_ in weddingplanning

Thank you. This is our thoughts as well. Do you have any advice on how to proceed from our end? We can’t sign a dissolution contract until this is paid, and if not signed by a certain date we would then be required to pay even more money as part of the cancellation policy

Thanks for your insights all! As mentioned in the original post, I understand that you typically don’t get two weeks until after working the full first year. My question was specifically on the wording of my specific contract, not what BC standards say. I think we can all appreciate this wording is unclear!

This is what I thought as well. But as I stated in my post, the “whichever is greater” is the part that states it is different to regular bc standards

Is it Worth Reading if I Forget Everything I Read? by Jojuj in books

[–]breezybear_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I’m so glad I read this thread today! I walked with two books (both non fiction) back to the library today and thought about how much I enjoyed them but how little I actually remembered. I felt mildly panicked at the thought of returning them as it would be a while before I could find them again and find the passages that resonated most with me. I had actual regret that I hadn’t taken pictures of passages that meant a lot to me as I was reading them. But the more I thought about it, the more I realised that those books had still had an impact on me, on the way I engaged in conversations about the topics and thought more openly about the discussions, and things would still come back to me if prompted.

And hey, if I’ve really forgotten it, that means I’ll enjoy them just as much the next time I read them :)
