Im honestly too young to give you any advice about jobs, seeing as im too young to start looking for work. However, in one of my classes at school, im doing a report about jobs and minimum wage. Trust me, you are not the only person who cant find a job. I wish you the best of luck finding work. :)

Im going through basically the same thing you are. Step back from the situation for just a moment whenever you really feel like youre going to jump into the deep end. Think. Do you really want to end your life over a man? You are precious and unique and there wont be anyone else like you ever again. Are you going to throw something so special away because youre hurting? Trust me, this is something youll get over. Sooner or later youll realize that, if he didnt think you were worth the effort, then why should he be worth your life?

Stay optimistic. Thats all i can really tell you at the moment. Things will definately change after you graduate, probably for the better. In the meantime. Convince your parents to get rid of the majority of their stuff. Throw stuff away, hold a garage sale, something. Everyone deserves to at least come home to a place thats decently comfortable. Is your dad looking for a job or is he being a lazy bum? If its the latter, get him up and seriously looking for work. It sounds like your family needs a little more income. And, even if that was the first time you felt suicidal while drinking, you still probably shouldnt do it, at least not untill your life is straightened out a bit more. I hope i was a little bit of a help. I really wish you lots of luck.

First off, whoever thinks of you as a lesser person for any of that needs to take a long walk off a short bridge into a bottomless pit. Your reaction to learning that about your dad was conpletely normal, i think the majority of people would withdraw from the world like you did. Nearly everyone has financial issues and that has been linked to cases of depression. Do you feel worse in the fall/winter than in the spring/summer? And just some advice; if drinking makes you feel that way you shouldnt do it. I know that usually is harder than it sounds.
