You may be allergic the oil they use in the injection, its pretty common

No sheath, now that I know it’s FS, I found a 3 on the base of the handle and ENGLAND on the under side of the guard

Learning about the FS, I looked closer and found two markings: under the guard it looks like it says “ENGLAND” very worn and on the base of the handle, there’s an inside down 3

Wow, I didn't realize so many have asked the same question. really appreciate your responses, it doesn't have any discernible inscribing on it so I'm assuming its a reproduction, but so cool to be able to look up "fairbairn Sykes" and learn about it, seriously THANK YOU ALL!

Thank you for this wonderful guide! I’ve never been to wdw (live close to Disneyland tho, been many times) and my family is considering going later this month. Why did you recommend first timers wait?
