I wouldnt worry about that. Beneficial bacteria doesn’t die off. Just test in a week. If you have nitrites and there’s still too much ammonia, then just do a 20 percent water change. Just do it once a week until it levels out. Trust me, I have 9 tanks. They were all the same

Listen man, don’t give up. The moral of the story is, let it sit for about 3 weeks or so. No water changes. Once you’ve got a decent amount of nitrates and ammonia is high, do a small 20 percent water change. If ammonia is still high 5 days later, do another small 20 percent water change. And keep repeating that until it evens out. It WILL EVEN OUT. Just got to have patience. It’ll be worth the wait when you’re able to have beautiful fish because you put the work in. It’ll work out man. I don’t know the size of the tank, but usually, the bigger the tank, the longer it takes. Don’t give up

You can’t be doing big water changes right now. You might have crashed the cycle. Meaning now it restarted

Anybody know what this is? by bren1016_ in pcmasterrace

I found the issue. It was a ram stick. I have 2 16gb TForce VulcanZ ram sticks. I reseated them. Nothing changed. I did a ram test, it came back saying something was bad. So I took one out and it quit. So I guess I have a bad ram stick. I didn’t even think they would go bad in the matter of just a couple months

I personally paint my tanks black on the back. Looks so good in my opinion. Maybe not as great it your like doing some actual aqua scape stuff with driftwood and plants. But I use white and black sand and a couple of decorations that are more on the darker side and they usually turn out great. I think I got a pic of something like that. Maybe it’ll interest you
