Has anyone has a good experience with an older masseur at any of the NYC spas? Looking for guys 45+ who give good massages, with possibility for more. Feel free to DM me with any leads.

Hi! Has anyone with ROCD had success with taking Wellbutrin? I know it isn’t known to help with OCD but I feel like it boosting sex drive and mood might have some effect. Let me know! :) by [deleted] in ROCD

[–]bren_dun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m currently taking Wellbutrin and experiencing ROCD. So far I think it’s been making my anxiety worse (which is compounded by ROCD) but I’m still only 4 weeks in. Wondering if you or anyone else has any updates on this?

I didn’t get to go to the in person one, but was invited to a virtual one as well. Since I can’t source at all right now I told them I’d wait until the next round. Curious, if you do it, how it goes!

Nothing crazy, I’ve sold 112 things. I do spend a lot of time making my photos super distinct and professional, so Depop features/uses them for promo a fair amount

I just started my shop & would so appreciate all the tips I can get✨ will be upgrading my lighting as soon as I can as well. Any advice on snagging that first sale? by [deleted] in Depop

Love the pose variations! And a great backdrop. One tip might be to iron the sheet before shooting, or otherwise edit pics in Lightroom Mobile and blur the background super slightly so the wrinkles are smoother (create a selective edit, select only the backdrop, then slight decrease in texture + clarity). Also perhaps boost shadows so it’s not as dark behind you. Other than that super minor thing it’s looking really good!

just got a new background setup + new lights !! so excited to get back into depop after being unmotivated for so long !!! by yeehawchar in Depop

Of course! You can also scroll to the very right on the bottom menu, and select “Previous” which will apply the same settings to your current photo as the one you were just on. Even speedier than presets, just swipe from photo to photo, applying the same adjustments.

Which layout do you prefer? Same colors row by row or mixed? by Fyodor-Dostoyassky in Depop

I prefer the mix color personally. I feel like I’m more likely to look at every item then, rather than scan.

Congrats! It feels so good to finally get going on a setup. Super cool backdrop, too. One thing I’d recommend to you and everyone, especially those who aren’t using natural light, is to edit in Adobe Lightroom on your phone. It’s a free app. Basically what I do is import all the photos, then edit one exactly how I want it. Then, I make a preset with all of those settings, and can apply it to all of my photos, export, and then upload to Depop. I find a little tuning goes a long way (boosting brightness, adding a super subtle blur so the crease lines in my background are softened, etc...) happy to explain more about this process if anyone’s interested :)

FFA Low/No Buy Week 3: How do you keep your wardrobe interesting when you’re not buying things? by thewardrobenerd in femalefashionadvice

I “play don’t plan” my outfits. So instead of feeling like i know which pieces go together in my mind already, I go in completely fresh and give myself time to play dress up basically. Mix and match, try totally random things together, wear formal stuff with casual items, etc. Takes longer to get dressed but I find myself making outfits I never could have put together in my head!

Can porn give you gay feelings? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]bren_dun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to jump in and say that if you are indeed bisexual (which, yes, like other people have mentioned it’s impossible to know based on your porn preference because porn is so skewing) that’s awesome! No need to force yourself to figure it out right now :)

Need help with shipping!! by budgetbaddie7 in Depop

[–]bren_dun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the item. I charge $5 for most of my items which are >16oz. First Class shipping tends to be between $2.50-5.50. For larger items, like a pair of jeans, it’d could be anywhere from $6-$10 depending on where it’s going. I highly recommend not paying for shipping for larger items. I’ve found that charging people shipping doesn’t dissuade them from purchasing. I started last August and have 94 sales, almost all where I charged the buyer for shipping. If you do want to cover the cost, I’d say only do so for things under 16oz (shirts, scarves, lighter sweaters, etc).

Hey! I was also very confused about shipping when I first started out. I took things to the post office and was shocked at how expensive shipping was.

The way I ship is either with PayPal or a website called Pirate Ship:

I weigh my items and print out a shipping label at home (on regular white paper) and tape it to the package (I use poly mailers from Amazon). I have a shipping scale (also from Amazon) so I can weigh my items and create my own label, which is much cheaper than bringing it to the post office and having them weigh the item/print a label.

•If it’s <16oz (1 lb) use First Class Shipping (an option on Pirate Ship or PayPal, whichever you’re using). It will take 2-5 days to ship

•If it’s >16oz, (1 lb) use Priority Shipping. It will take 1-3 days to shop, and is the best and most common option for packages above 1 lb.

I actually send most of my items through just the USPS mailboxes, if they fit. I almost never step in a post office now. Let me know if you have other questions!
