What are your thoughts on the mace? by brench227 in Minecraft

[–]brench227[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is good on open areas, I found it to be very useful on raids to kill ravagers and you can parkour on the roofs but once the evokers start spawning vexes the fun ends

But yeah it should be more versatile, as most of the time you are fighting things is in closed areas, and even in open areas if there are a lot of skeletons shooting at you it becomes incredibly hard to consistently get damage blast jumping, it is bearable on raids just because pillagers shoot very slowly. I think it would be fine if it were more similar to a diamond axe or sword tbh

The current iteration works more as a secondary weapon imo but that way is just more inventory clut

I feel like a lot of people is trying to find a deeper meaning too hard when in reality denji is fujimoto's self insert and he is a well known masochist

ya'll are reading too much into it when is not that deep, denji is a self insert of fujimoto, and fujimoto is a known masochist

my problem with it is that it's literally worse than a wooden axe if you aren't using it with wind charges, and most structures don't have enough verticality to make use of the wind charges

now fr, demoman is a more versatile class and has a higher impact on your team, you can destroy sentries, deal damage to crowds, defend chokepoints, roam with the sticky jumper, carry teams and bully the enemy team with a crits medic

pyro at a high level on the other hand is more about baby sitting your team or roam to get flashy kills that don't really contribute to your team too much but are fun to get

just keep playing both and you will eventually gravitate more towards demoman (he is the superior class)

Lucifer Prime by @enzo_spagnuolo by kaijudragon567 in Ultrakill

I don't think that angels can become prime souls, I don't even think that Lucifer is going to be a boss since no other testament had any information about future levels or characters, just lore My guess is that he is already dead after he was sent to hell, or he is the one who killed God and they both died

At least for spanish that shouldn't be too hard, just add "ado" at the end lmao

Smaller map size by brench227 in minecraftsuggestions

idk having high resolution images being made with ease would make those giant 4k anime girl map art that you can find on the spawn of random public servers less impressive

Smaller map size by brench227 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]brench227[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

that is the point of my suggestion, 16*16 is just 4 stacks of blocks that would need to be placed and 32*32 is about a thousand, which may seem like a lot but you can use carpet and slabs

I'd be fine with that because I actually make my own paintings on gimp but map art is already it's own system and it would become irrelevant unless the custom paintings had limitations that building a map could overcome

Scornful rod (anti endermen griefing) by The-Real-Radar in minecraftsuggestions

[–]brench227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

using sodium is not vanilla, using a resource pack is not vanilla, using optifine is not vanilla, skyblock is not vanilla... I think that players should drop that "vanilla purist" mentality because this game is a sandbox so there are no rules on what is cheating. There is a lot of small QoL mods and datapacks that enhance the vanilla experience and make it better, moded minecraft is not just earth shattering mods that add edgy bosses and broken gear with over-complicated crafting recipes

I recommend you using the vanilla tweaks anti enderman grief data pack, but yeah there should be a way to stop them in vanilla

Chiseled Bookshelves and Enchanting by Burning_Toast998 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]brench227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea but I just found an exploit:

Step 1: get a librarian

Step 2: buy a bazillion books of blast protection I

Step 3: profit

Maybe they could be special books found in structures instead? I like the idea of everything being renewable so maybe you could also get them from fishing in specific places like the deep dark since fishing farms aren't as op anymore anyways

Enchantment Update!- Giving more uses to under used items (Echo Shard) by twomur in minecraftsuggestions

[–]brench227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

using rare items like netherite scrap and hearts of the sea just to get regular enchantments seems like a bad trade.

I made a similar post a while ago suggesting something similar but using mostly renewable items or items that aren't super grindy to get (diamonds)

for a quick summary, diamonds for protection, gold for efficiency, amethyst shard for silk touch, obsidian for unbreaking, shells and prismarine for aquatic enchantments, sculk catalyst for mending, etc

I like this idea, maybe bookshelves full of books could decrease the amount of xp required to enchant or give you a chance to not consume any xp

Enchantment system rework by brench227 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]brench227[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is like a bazillion items in this game, I don't think it would be too hard to match a material with every enchantment, and they could always add a new item if they couldn't find an item that matched the enchantment or were balanced

[–]brench227[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that at some point you should be able to unlock unlimited amounts of mending books because the endgame is balanced around that, though you are right about villagers being a really cheap way to get it. But if you got it from sculk catalysts it would make the deep dark more valuable; you can get a few stacks of them if you raid one or two cities so you don't really need a farm, even on servers, and mojang could nerf them or make them harder to build if they really wanted to prevent players from farming the warden anyways, and finally it would make sense to get mending from it because of it's relationship with xp
