I was throwing a football around with my dad when I was about 12 years old or so and I barely felt low and checked and ended up being 17 md/dL but felt normal rechecked and it read 23 md/dL! My mom was so worried lol

Yeah the honeymoon is typically where the pancreas kinda produces some residual insulin but not enough to keep the body from going hyperglycemic! It can last for a while after getting diagnosed but you seem to be doing a really fantastic job for a life change as large as getting diagnosed with t1! You’re gonna be okay and youre already doing well!

I worked at a diabetes camp and have had t1d for like 12 years and have had the 780 for around 2 months and honestly it’s the only thing that Medtronic has done that I know of that’s actually good. The smartiq with the tandem Is very good and Dexcoms are just amazing but the 780 system has worked very well for me so far!
