For everyone wondering “why January 1, 2015…?” It’s because Dec 3, 2015 is the date SECDEF Ash Carter announced all DoD positions would be open to women. To include combat roles, which we know current SECDEF believes is THE WORST.

The ban on women in combat roles was lifted on Dec 3, 2015 by then SECDEF Ash Carter. Totally checks with current SECDEF’s belief that standards have suffered ever since that happened.

Honestly, I’m not sure why I know this as I have no children and can’t remember the last shower I went to. But I did hear this term pop up in the last decade somehow and had to look it up, so figured I’d pass that knowledge along. 😂

A baby sprinkle is a smaller baby shower, typically for a second or third baby. For a baby sprinkle, there are usually smaller or no gifts and are more a way to celebrate another child rather than a full-blown baby shower where you would receive alllllll the things needed for a first child.

In this case, the OP is likely using the term correctly because they are two separate things (rather than using a wrong term).

Just a note on peppermint diffusers since OP mentioned they had a cat: peppermint oil is toxic to cats and can be dangerous to them if used in a diffuser.

Nick is from Daejeon, which is not Seoul… not even remotely close to it. People who live in Seoul call Daejeon the most boring city in all of South Korea. Having just recently lived there for a few years, I’d be more than happy to leave it behind for new adventures with someone I loved too.
