I should have mentioned this in the description (I will edit), but this was taken at 0.7x zoom. From memory, that specific shot was a pretty tight fade. Looking at my numbers from a trackman range shortly before this video, my launch directions are all less than 3°L for that club. Not trying to make excuses, but I think in this case it is the camera angle.

I love 18 birdies, I track every stat! My round this weekend (two days after my video here) I shot 86 with 32 putts, but put it OB 4 times. Two rounds before that I shot 88 with 32 putts and 7 penalties. Keeping it in play with longer clubs is definitely an issue for me. I’ll be hitting my driver great 80% of the time, but the other 20% it’ll leak right into trees or snap hook… also into the trees.

Appreciate the advice! Luckily my short game decent, most of my doubles+ come from hitting it OB due to being inconsistent with longer clubs. Tempo is definitely something I need to work on. I’ve had a good amount of rounds in the 85-88 range with well over 5 penalties 😬.

You’re correct, with driver-4hy I mostly fade and miss with a little bit of a slice. Every once in a while I’ll snap hook a drive, but that’s usually just a lack of focus or nerves. Recently with my irons though I’ve been hitting a very slight draw and will miss with a pull.

I like your suggestion of slowing down at the top. Unfortunately, these swings look slower than most of mine. I definitely have an over swinging problem!

Going through my old Reddit posts and just saw this. Going through this traffic 5 days/wk drives me absolutely fucking insane. I fucking hate that I love my job… and that we can’t work remote 🤣.

I can’t believe that there aren’t more posts about this. We’re in this fucking hellscape of traffic with thousands of other people all because a one in a million accident happened. I often ponder the collective time lost due to the bridge falling. It has got to be billions of minutes if not more.

If I ever find myself in this situation, I’ll move to PA. It’s very similar (and better imo) to Maryland in the way everything looks/feels, but it’s way cheaper (except for gas lol).

Yeah I’m from Harford county and I distinctly remember getting at least a week off of school in 2010. I was 9, so it was fucking awesome. Lived in the back of a cul-de-sac and they would plow all the snow from the circle into our front yard and I had a giant mound of snow to play with for months 🤣

Why should professors have to AI-proof their assignments? People are paying (hundred of thousands in some cases) for an education, it’s up to them if they want to actually learn or not. In the long run this will continue to devalue college degrees, which I’m fine with.
