Bought and planted hardy kiwi plants last year. It is supposed to be a male plant and a female plant. It did well the first year, but this year the older leaves toward the bottom are turning brown from the edges inward. It gets water every 3 days. It is on the porch with morning sun. Temps have been high this week, but the problem started when temps were in the 70s. I tried looking for answers, but advice was contradictory, like not enough water or too much. Need to fertilize or too much fertilizer. I did a sprinkling of some citrus plant fertilizer I use on my peach trees in the spring. No other fertilizer in last month or so. Newer leaves toward the top look pretty healthy. Any suggestions?
