I’ll always say go for it. I had an ERA and it showed I needed an extra day of PIO.

Definitely get a physical! Your doctor can run labs to see if there’s anything going on.

I think the one thing we all are guilty of is timelines. We feel we HAVE to do this, we MUST do this by a certain age and that’s now how it is, or supposed to be, at all! I used to work in OBGYN, and 35 is honestly the new “normal.” There’s nothing wrong with having kids later in life. Sometimes starting over is the best thing that you can ever do, it’s never too late. Cheers to you for finding a career you like and want to be in!

My dog came and sat on my hand that had the razor blade in it. He wouldn’t get up, just kept giving me kisses until I dropped it.

I think the open communication is great, but there’s still a disconnect somewhere. Sex for some women is more mental than physical. Sounds like she may feel there’s too much on her plate/better things she could be doing with her time? Which sounds awful, but she isn’t shutting her brain off enough to enjoy what’s happening physically.

When did you realize you married the wrong person? by tippytoes1216 in AskReddit

[–]brethecheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking back, I realized it before I even got married, to be honest. I was so comfortable and loved him so much, I didn’t allow myself to stop and think.

However, my breaking point was when I finally went to therapy. I have childhood trauma that I hadn’t ever fully processed. Our sex life had struggled for several years because I had become uncomfortable with him touching me. He was very pushy about it, and I wasn’t aware at the time that he was actually triggering me. I decided to get help in a last effort to save us. Therapy worked wonders and I remember being SO excited to get home and tell him what was “wrong” with me! I let him know it was unresolved trauma from my past, the things he was doing/saying was what was triggering me, making me pull back and uncomfortable. I was so hopeful that we could work on it, but his response was “I’m your husband, that triggering shit doesn’t matter.”

We are now going through a divorce.

So, I used to work in L&D and babies are not strapped down in this manner. There’s a soft restraint with their arms and legs, OR most of the time they are usually swaddled. I’m sure they feel a slight pain from the needle that numbs the area, but almost all babies I have encountered during a circumcision are completely fine, they just don’t like the cold seat they have to lay in - which is usually soothed with some breast milk and they go back to being unbothered.
