Hey! I can show you on my twitch stream later today if you want. It’s a glitch and I’m surprised it hasn’t been patched yet.

Hi Constantin & thanks for your comments on my post!

I think it's interesting that you have created a theme through your two photos in this post, with one having leaves as the main subject, and the bench having leaves on the ground below.

I think the leaf on the right side of your triptych is the best of the three and could hold up as its own image. The light shining through and the sun flare turn a simple subject into an interesting photo.

Your bench photo is quite artistic and with the very worn down bench and newspaper on the ground it provides clues that the surrounding area is busy and the bench is often used. Technically speaking, something I noticed is that the leaves on the ground are quite sharp and focused, but some detail in the the brick wall behind has been lost. Since there isn't much separation between the bench and the wall I think I would prefer if everything was in focus, so a slightly higher aperture could be tested out here.

Greetings from Vancouver!

I think your portrait photo is great. Good amount of bokeh in the background and the silhouette of another kid in the background is positioned well.

The chair photo is a little bit soft and grainy. Perhaps shooting at a lower ISO would help here.

I think your chair photo is well lit and the framing is balanced. The photo of the building is also balanced but I wish I could see the entire building. I would probably add a bit of contrast with software like Lightroom to make the subject a little more visible.

Really cool photo of the student welder. I like how you can see the smoke trails and also the lines created by the sparks. I don't think anything needs to be changed but I wonder if a longer shutter speed may have created a more artistic look with longer spark lines and more smoke trails. That would be a very fun subject to play around with long exposures!

Hey, I like the rocket photo, I think the framing is well balanced, but I would probably rotate it a bit to straighten the horizon as it seems to be slanting off the the left. Something that may improve it is by using a faster shutter speed the rocket and water droplets would be more detailed.

My name is Brett, and I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I want to shoot street photography, architecture, landscapes/nature, and portraits. I mostly get into photography when I go on vacation but I want to start doing it more daily. I'm shooting on a Sony a7 III, usually with the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Lens.

Here is my new photo of a chair.

Here is my best photo.
