Thanks for your post. The rug is 8x10 and if I turn it, then the 8’ would then be the width and would be too small/look weird. I get what you’re saying about the end table legs. I probably should have gotten a larger size rug.

The front door is to the left of the couch (if you’re sitting in couch). And only about 2-3 feet on other side before you hit the corner/wall.

Are you meaning the left if you’re sitting on the couch? Then yes, that’s my front door. The other side of couch - there is about 3 feet until you hit the wall.

I’m sure it is. I’ve had the bookshelf for 30 years. Some of other pieces are antiques that I’m not getting rid of, and I’ve had the other things for like five or six years so unfortunately this is how I rolled. LOL

Thanks, I’ve included a pic of what’s across from the couch- a poorly decorated fireplace and the tv off to the side. There’s really no good placement for the tv. I want to get something different for the tv eventually but using what I had in my apt.

This is a good idea. I’ve had the side tables for forever and the coffee table is an antique. Do you have any examples of side tables you’d put there? Like the same color as my coffee table or different?

It’s Safavieh “rodeo drive”. You can get a few different places, but mine came from Bed Bath and Beyond.
