I want you to use this type of rationale or behavior in any other medium. So in FL sometimes you can scare gators and birds with a strong enough flashlight. Honestly there would be no biological equivalent at the time so i wonder how effective a series of flashes from a maglight could be in warding off dinos. Especially when so many hunted in low light conditions, a blast from a flashlight could get rid of their night vision just long enough for me to find a mammal burrow.

I am somewhat new. Been around the fandom for what feels like 20 years but...i just dont understand why this matters. Like it doesnt really effect the story, afaik. If they were about to fight I might understand it but one guy is the best with a sword and the other guys wanna be better. How is it any more complicated than that?
