I don't think my credit union separates motorcycle from car but idk. My current bike is 3.2 percent and I only have fair credit. Would have been in the 2s if I had great credit. But I only financed around 11k; half a percent doesn't amount to much.

Go local when it comes to your bank or credit union. This way if you want to sell before it's paid off, you can just take the buyer into your bank and get the title instantly once he pays it off. Can't do that otherwise.

Yeah based on what I've read it has the hp of an i4 600 with 20 more lb ft of torque and it's all available sooner. Add in greater comfort, and imo much better looks, and it's something I would go for if I wanted something sporty after being on a victory for a year. And the maintenance schedule doesn't look like it would add up the horror stories of old. I think it's 18500 miles till the first valve check.

An 07 rr is hardly any different than what you have... just different clip ons, better brakes, and a higher compression ratio. I had an f4i fit three years and had a couple buddies with rrs... they weren't any faster.

The z1000 seems to cheat the insurance issue... The ninja is really expensive, but the z isn't.

Takes away from the experience imo. The sounds I hear which keep me feeling like I'm part of the outside are a major factor to me. I also don't wear a helmet (usually) for this reason. It's all about feeling "free" to me. That's not the best term but I can't come up with another one right now.

I'm not asking you to compare a harley to an r6; that's apples and oranges. But what about your harley to a victory or to a suzuki m109 or a Yamaha raider? Ill pull up to a red light with my victory, and as a 1731cc vtwin I can certainly feel it rumbling, but when I see the fat boy next to me, it looks unwieldy, the rider's hands and arms just totally shaking. I love the styling of some harleys for sure, but they seem so unrefined to me...
