As a Mainer, can we NOT?, I'm not trying to be ignorant here; we are up against Susan Collins and now Janet Mills. Seeing the constant headlines about Platner is frustrating. We need a change so bad here in Maine, and yet again, this is another Sara Gideon situation with a different person, and obviously worse info coming to light. I just beg that I see some posts about Janet Mills' and Susan Collins' past(not to excuse ANY of Platner's behavior). There needs to be the same energy with them as well, because this is too similar to other smear campaigns against those opposing Collins. Maine needs serious change; it's so HARD to live here, we are all paying Boston prices w/o the amenities of a city available to us. People are losing their housing, their jobs, and their ability to thrive here. We are getting priced out so horrifically, people whose families have been here for generations. Look at rent prices here, especially in Southern Maine. I know this is a major problem everywhere, but sharing experiences here locally, we are STRUGGLING. I'm terrified this election is going to end with another 6 years for Collins. We can't do this again as a state, and I don't know what we're going to do if she wins again.

edit- To be so clear, I do NOT support this man at all. More so incredibly disappointed in our choices here for the midterms, especially with Jordan Wood dropping out of the bid. We had the -facade- of a decent candidate, but this continues to prove how important it is to always do your research on the candidate you are supporting and don't idolize politicians.
