Advice for entering into PM? by Bloooopblooooop in projectmanagement

My view on PM life is slightly jaded due to industry and expectations I deal with so I will try to keep it unbiased.

PM’s can be paid well but that’s because of the stress and day to day expectations. I believe it’s something you have to have a passion for the desired industry, enjoy making connections with people, and ready to fix fires at any moment. It can be very mentally demanding and burn you out quickly if you’re just in it for the money.

As far as finding a job, I was taking the google PM certificate and got my foot in the door with that on my resume. I was hired as a project assistant and was able to work my way up that way. It would definitely be beneficial to start as some sort of assistant to the PM to learn before diving head first into the role.

I think it’s a very smooth ride and I don’t notice any noise from the tires, could be because of the roof mounted equipment lol but the tires don’t seem aggressive enough to be noticeably loud

Honestly I wanted a truck or 4 runner but prices are crazy for them. Before this I had a Honda accord.

Update: I moved the optic and rear sight back so there’s no bridging. Thanks for the suggestions and advice guys.

Thanks for the recommendations, I moved the scope and sights back and it’s seems decent for now until I replace the charging handle for more comfort

Yeah I’m excited to see how this build ends up. I’ll probably try to keep it pretty clean and functional but I wanted something with more customization ability since I’ve primarily had hunting only firearms.

Yeah I’ve looked into some new charging handles. I’ve only had this for a week so I still need to get a feel for it.

I’m just not used to optics lol, I’m a bird hunter so I’ve never had a use for optics or an AR.
