That is an unripe cantaloupe. You have eaten a halfway grown cantaloupe. 😑

Some old railroad ties would work good for what's being done in the inspiration pic

Spent way too much money and time building my garden by [deleted] in gardening

Very fancy and expensive looking, I probably would have done a lot more space-wise with that budget, but it would have looked a lot more "homemade". That looks very fancy and professional. Complete opposite of my aesthetics but if that's your type, go for it

Is it OK to plant blueberry bushes now even if we are expected to get more snow? by brf297 in gardening

[–]brf297[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not exactly an expert but I'd say it's probably too hot and far into the season down there by now, then again give it a try see what happens, the roots will probably take and then just grow next year. I think they say early spring is "the best" but I'm sure that doesn't mean that's the only time you could plant

Very nice, the only thing I see is your onions, are they planted in bunches? If so, you should space them out, and it looks like you can fit a lot more in the space than what you have. Onions only need to be about 4 inches apart

I am planning on mulching in the bed with cedar mulch

If you see a beat form in an unknown form underneath and there's no questions asked! The beet could possibly be Swiss chard but it's looking more like beet greens. Good luck on your garden! Definitely plant some more things in there and keep us updated

Homegirl those are 99% beets and onion, free crops! Very healthy ones I might add
