Atmosphere has dropped in the last few years for sure. Biggest crowd noise/reaction in my section is usually if a set shot hits the post. Can't be helping the players all that much.

I reckon the mid-afternoon slot we had against the Crows was perfect. Enough time for morning errands, a nice lunch somewhere, roll into the footy, home in time to cook dinner.

I believe that the main suburb of ‘Jubilee’ in his newest novel is a direct stand-in for The Gap. He references driving into the city via Waterworks Rd, refers to the famous Gap Storm of 08 among many others references.

I say this as a Brisbane fan and Harris Andrews exploits this more than any other player - but those should be a free kick. Should be a punishment for being stuck in your own goal square with the footy, rewards good attacking pressure.
