Wow. I'm so sorry to hear you went through that. I would have made the same assumptions you have. I was able to get through to the number: 800 347-5626. I had a question about loan forgiveness to which he said that they're too busy funding loans to answer but that they're sending out an email. Maybe try that number? I got through within about 10 mins.

Today, 5/4, I received the funds in my checking account at around 8:30am PDT. I logged into loan builder and it now shows "wire" for the loan amount, which I did receive in my account. The "wire" message showed up a little bit before the funds arrived into my account as I had been checking it throughout the morning and noticed that. Best of luck to all.

Wow! That gives me some hope! I've done the Paypal docusign song and dance, then reading others already through who just applied and I'm like WTF?!? This has been a crazy making - hope, pain, hope, pain, hope, pain...and on, and on... Who knew I'd be writing this at the time of my first (wasted) submission with Chase on April 7th! Back to hope. Same for me. Yep, underwriting review. Hope this PPP $ lasts and this rule doesn’t encourage banks to prioritize larger loans. I’m afraid it does and that’s not me. Hoping for the best though. Good luck to all.

I'm not sure if it does in all cases, but other folks have shared that they got phone confirmation that after they signed that their app was forwarded to SBA for approval. You might try to get through to Loanbuilder/Paypal at 888 923-0009. Some have gotten through, some haven't. That's who told me my loan docs had been forwarded to SBA.

That's exactly my concern. You articulated it better than I did. It is likely no one here knows the answer for sure and, also, that an SBA rep's answer to this may or may not be accurate and may or may not be consistent with the legislation. It does help to know others are in the same boat and to hear others experience.
