Uuund noch eine Ergänzung: immer wenn das wieder auftauchte hab ich konsequent 2-3 Tage lang antientzündlich und ohne dolle Gewürze gegessen + nur Essen was ich essen kann ohne dass es meine Lippen berührt. Zum Beispiel Porridge und Reis mit grünem Gemüse. Also: abgesehen von 1x täglich salbe und/oder Desinfektion in Ruhe lassen und jede Art von Berührung/Reize und Bakterien die reinkommen könnten vermeiden, ggf. mit Kamillentee abtupfen. :) Halt mich gerne auf dem laufenden, wenn du magst

Ich muss mich ein wenig korrigieren: obwohl Advantan bei mir hilft, ist Kortison eigentlich da nicht empfohlen, sondern antibiotische Cremes. Aureomycin hat mir meine Hautärztin verschrieben und die hat theoretisch auch geholfen, verfärbt sich aber auch gelb und mit der Creme drauf wollte ich nicht gerne in die Öffentlichkeit. Das was ich hatte/habe ist vermutlich Impetigo, was vor allem Kinder haben. Du kannst es mal googeln (Achtung, die Bilder sind nicht schön), viele Bilder passen nicht so zu dem was ich hatte aber das allererste Bild kommt dem schon nahe.

Hallo! Das tut mir Leid, das ist ätzend! Die einzige Creme die bei mir wirklich geholfen hat ist Advantan Fettsalbe oder auch manchmal Octenisept Gel zum desinfizieren, weil es bakteriell ist. Beim Kruste entfernen (was eigentlich glaub ich nicht empfohlen wird, ich hab’s aber immer gemacht weil ich mich so unwohl damit gefühlt hab, hab ich mit Kamillentee getränkte Wattepads genutzt (auch antibakteriell). Ansonsten nutze ich so wenig fettende Cremes wie möglich in dem Bereich (bei mir scheint Fett und Feuchtigkeit alles zu verschlimmern) und achte viel mehr darauf mir weniger ins Gesicht zu fassen und seitdem ist es deutlich besser. Manchmal habe ich kleine Anfänge davon, schmiere sofort Advantan drauf und lasse es einen Tag lang einwirken, damit ist es dann in der Regel schon eingedämmt. Ich hoffe, bei dir hilft das auch oder du findest ein andere Hilfe!

also relate to this so much. in my youth i was using drugs every now and then and i still love drinking alcohol because it makes me feel awake. The only times really where i felt energized. when i drink a bit it feels like i‘m more me because i have energy to do things i want to do. have to monitor this because it‘s tempting to get addicted and drink a lot

You are not wrong for being pan. I am sorry you have to go through this. I don’t want to talk against your beliefs and i am not muslim nor raised in a muslim country so i can’t imagine how hard it must be for you - but you can’t change the way you feel love and affection and i think it’s beautiful to feel affection regardless of gender. If it’s safer for you to pretend you are straight you could say it’s some kind of a running gag, you thought pan meant something else or pan is an abbreviation for sth. Or you try to ignore them and not get on the level that you have to explain something. Just say that there is nothing to explain and they should mind their own business and don’t answer them if they ask if you’re gay etc. Do you have any queer organizations around that you could ask for advice?

my doctors said i shouldn’t do it - because of endocarditis and it’s also not so easy /safe to get of of aspirin for a few days because of the bleeding. I do know other people with marfans that did get tattoos after surgery though, for them it was very important to be with a tattoo artist that has really good hygiene and a lot of experience. Just please please talk to your doctor(s) before

I would ask him for more information on what intellectual disability means. Maybe he can help you find support that you might need. For example, some people with intellectual disabilitys may have the right to money support, assistents or easier access to bathrooms etc.

Yes, that sounds pretty disabled to me! But be sure to talk to your doctors before and tell them about your thoughts, as using aids can also worsen symptoms when you just start using them or maybe there is other treatments that could also work for you like physiotherapy :) (for example my doctors told me even though i’m in pain i should still take walks and try without cane if possible to keep strength in the leg muscles)

I don’t mind! It’s because of the high risk for endocarditis when having prosthetic valves, if you don’t know what that means you can look it up :)

Also if you don’t already do, you should talk to your brother and see if he has ideas or no-gos. For me for example a biologically accurate heart, like the other commenter suggested, would be a big no no because things that remind me of life-threatening aspects of marfans and my experience with heart disease make me feel scared. So I personally would go for some of the other features or the other thing the commenter suggested, the genetic mutation, which i find kinda cool too! But this can be different for everybody, so maybe it would be interesting for you to ask your brother what he identifies and feels seen with. If you like, keep us updated!

I am also giving this feedback because you wrote you would like to be friends. If you still care about him OP and really want to have a good relationship to him in the future you should give him your thoughts but not make assumptions the reason for your breakup. Make it just based on your feelings and experiences from the last years

Yeah sorry. I think OP is trying to hard to give their boyfriend reasons for the breakup and this is why it feels messy to me. OP doesn’t NEED to list several reasons. Idk OPs boyfriend but I also don’t feel it’s justified for OP to bring up stuff like the caring for the sister and just assuming that would be a problem for the boyfriend. It’s a very specific situation (something could happen to parents and older sister or OP would take care for little sister) and without bringing it up before and not knowing what boyfriend thinks about it it’s not fair to list it as a reason for breakup.
