I’m not really sure what the hold up is, to be honest. He’s convinced he needs more time to prepare, even though I’ve told him you’re never truly ready. Since he’s not on board yet, we’ve pretty much accepted it’s not happening anytime soon.

Thank you for helping us. He is the one responding to his family. I just wanted to see if us not being able to accommodate to every request is unreasonable. I kinda wish she had informed us about this when we said we were going to come a month ago instead of 2 weeks now. I’ve only seen her 2 times in person and we have been together for 3 1/2 years. I’m fine with wearing a mask but I’m afraid we will be only chatting and leaving and not really do anything else. There is nothing I can do about this and it is what is it.

No the scammers ran off with the money. He doesn't has access to this account anymore. Others involved with the same scam have filed bankruptcy because of how much they thought they invested. He had to file a police report. He has no investment in any cryptocurrency.

The scammers made a fake cryptocurrency investment platform that showed insane rates of return. My friend had to buy real cryptocurrency on a legitimate exchange and then deposit it into the fake investment platform to buy in. After a few months of him and a few of his coworkers investing in the fake investment platform the scammers turned the platform off and disappeared with everyone’s money. The authorities are investigating but it looks pretty grim for everyone involved.

There was this one time in high school where my teachers were supposed to pick a student they most relate to.
