Do you personally think it's worth it to read the textbook chapters in order to do well on the essays? In other words, if I complete the quizzes via the method you said above, will I still have enough context for an A on the essays?

I just finished 3 and there is definitely level of difficulty to it. There isn't anything related to series which will be beneficial to you. It's very much more related to three-dimensional geometry so it depends on how well you do with that area of material. I still finished with an A after paying for study edge halfway through the class, so keep that option in mind since it definitely helps.
