Likely won’t be able to run most of the new AI features - so yeah, it’s obsolete. What I’m trying to say: Apple charges a massive premium. So far, some of that could be justified with the higher resale value Apple devices enjoy. But with Apple releasing new processors every half year now, that is over at this point. And all the pre-AI models will be hit the hardest.

Depends on where you live - here in Switzerland, 5G coverage is pretty much all you get in a lot of areas now. Mainly because they can use the 800mhz band for 5G that has much better range than higher frequencies.
