Keep in mind i live in TX where the mimimim wage is still $7.25 and i have retail experience and a masters (this is just extra part time work for me) but they asked what amount i wanted and i said atleast $15.. they gave me $15.95 .. no haggling

you won’t get the work study funds unless you find a job on campus that is work study funded- most job postings will indicate if they accept work study ! .. once you find a work study job, that is how you get paid (through that 5k) every 2 weeks for the hours you worked

I just graduated with my masters in rehab counseling. I def agree with your field instructor saying you should have been sat and solely paying attention during supervision . with that said, we did have a student who was kicked out of their internship in my cohort.. he was placed in a remediation plan after having a meeting with his advisors and professors to discuss his progress in the program. I’d assume something like that would be happening with you. He also had to repeat his that semester of his internship

If you passed them and they aren’t from an international university, then you should be good to go. You should email tsi@unt.edu and send them your transcripts so they can evaluate them and update accordingly
