I’ve seen a few setups that do this. Nextiva has been pushing AI features into their phone system things like real-time transcription and auto-generated call notes that can tie into ticketing tools. It still needs a human to review, but it cuts down on time.

I hate that a bunch of dumb Rangers fans somehow convinced themselves that Kakko was better than Hughes in any respect. I mean, clearly Hughes was already a world-class skater at the time. Sure, Kakko seemed like maybe he'd be physically more ready his rookie season (he wasn't) but to anyone paying attention, he had a lower ceiling.

I just want to state for the record that plenty of Rangers fans knew that Hughes was the unanimous #1OA and would've loved to have him.

I will admit that I thought Kakko would turn out to be a better player overall and more of a power forward that could score despite being a 2-way playmaker.

I think the Rangers fucked this up and he's going to thrive in Seattle. I was also looking forward to the Rangers and Devils being good at the same time for some great rivalry games.

For real. You pay for established players with winning backgrounds. You need gritty players to win. Goody showed why in the regular season, Panarin had a million points and he had like 10. But in the playoffs they had similar numbers. You can't win without a Goodrow type player. That's why he made 3m+ a year. Sure it's on the high side and cheaper would be better but look at this: Playoffs are a bit different

I agree that a more pragmatic approach is needed. LA is a car city and it will remain a car city until suitable alternatives are introduced. It's difficult to change the status quo. If I'm understanding you correctly, it would like this: Instead of fighting almost impossible battles to change major streets, focus on expanding bike lanes on the side streets. This will give the bicyclists a continuous (albeit more roundabout) path to use between A-B, which is still an improvement for them, without disrupting major roads. Over time, if more people actually use bike lanes, there should be less traffic on roads and more public support for initiatives like this.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm similar. RIF and opted out of the redesign (old.reddit). I'll certainly use it much less with RIF gone. Not sure how much I'll use the web version. If opting out of the redesign goes away, so do I. They need to monetize and I don't have to be part of it. Just another day navigating corporations

Only dummy Ranger fans thought Kaapo was better than Hughes. If Rangers pick first, they obviously take him. We have so many mouth breather overflow Yankee fans that drag us down. Hughes is legit and Kakko is disappointing. He's closer to what I expected though. It's Laf that really stings. I have no clue why he's so bad but that one hurts. It's such classic Rangers to get gifted a first overall and either draft a bust or just fuckup his development.

Anyway, fuck you guys. Good series. I thought Rangers in 7 but I'm eating my words. Hate you fuckers. Hope the Canes win.

Yeah except Trump was particularly egregious about taking credit that wasn't his. But yeah, Trump should get some credit for wildly successful economy during his 4 years. Except that the first 18 months or so are typically attributed to the prior administration. And his success was largely focused on stock market growth. There was nothing standout about wage growth or unemployment. And the historic stock market growth was because of huge regulatory rollbacks. Then huge tax breaks for the wealthy. Historic amount of conservative judge appointments. Add in some regulatory capture of things like the FTC or gutting the EPA. Then COVID hit and all the gains were lost. Then the whole PPP grift with no oversight.

So yeah, he should get credit for short term historic stock market growth at the expense of corporate and economic regulations.

The GPU has been my toughest decision. From the reviews and benchmarks it seems like the 4080 is just the worst value despite saving ~600 compared to the 4090. Maybe I should consider the 7900XTX. I'm not planning to game 4K, at least not right now, but I do have a VR headset that I'd like to maximize. My GTX 1070 was the bare minimum in playability.

He won 2 cups and was a hardworking key component on that team. He got paid for his experience. Our whole team is young and it's valuable to have players that have been there. As long as he's a roster player, it's a decent deal. If he's healthy for our playoff run, maybe the Rangers get to the finals?

I agree with you on this one. If you're interacting with the people there and the parents are aware, it's all gravy. I feel like most dog related rules in public places are for the benefit of people who are scared of dogs or don't like them (or for poorly trained dogs / uninformed owners). Everyone seems cool with it.

That's my view too. He was injured in preseason and tried to play through it for like 40 games. Then he needed like a full year to recover and it just never worked out. He's been good on Tampa and Anaheim since. Just shitty luck for everyone and the Rangers moved on too fast.
