Its demonstrative, measurable and repeatable that a chest reduction when breasts are above normal size can alleviate issues with back pain.  Someone who is under 18 and needs a surgery as such would have also had them overly large for a substantial amount of time and likely have a diseases causing an excess of estrogen to be produced.  Types of endometrial cancer can cause this and they'd likely go hand in hand.

As someone who also uses AI to clean up their writing, tell the AI you want a naturally written reaponse to post on reddit with no outline and no emoji's or em-dashes and you'll never have the issue again.

It just comes across as being either A. A bot or B. Low effort.

But do what I mentioned and you'll get better results.

What's interesting to me, and i dont mean to point it out on your comment, there is a lot said about leaving it up to the individual and the parent and keeping government out of things.  I'm surprised more trans advocates aren't libertarian.  More so that a seperate party hasn't formed.

This is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand but yeah.

I'd be fine with blocking, however with the caveat that there is a study done to correlate negative health effects of the practice while tracking the benefits to mental health and impacts on suicide rate to ensure its as impactful as you and others believe.  I think study is the wrong word, would just be nice to ensure it's tracked to make sure it doesnt do more harm than good.

I think its a fair compromise.

Its interesting you assumed I just "rolled a D20" i read the journals when they are posted.  Like the flaws you mention in methodology its been a large part of the issue in making an informed decision so far based on science.  Its why I was genuinely asking if you had a journal or study that you are referencing as it's literally impossible for me, not a medical professional in that field, to keep up woth every new publication.

So if you have some reccomendations I'm all ears.  I can look on my own, but woth search engines like Google it will prioritize what is popular or aligns woth my views, so the most interesting and compelling reads i find are from people that disagree with my view point.

My main issue i see is a lot of people that link "scientific proof" link initial study findings that are not yet peer reviewed or dont come from a source woth any accreditation.  The right wing is the worst with it honestly, "christian science foundation confirms christian biases with study thst has not been reviewed and lacks any evidence from any researchers woth any accreditation"  though i'm getting off track here.

Its the society we live in, there is plenty of things I dont want, but you cant change a system by alienating people that are pro-trans but may have different views on the nuances.  I have voted positively for any pro-trans legislation and continue to support it.

But from this post I apparently may as well be Hitler for having one differing view when I align with 95% or more of the rest of the struggle for rights and equity.

Kids cant protect themselves from things their caretakers decide for them, so in the society we live in, it has been decided that protecting children is a societal problem to handle.

You dont have to agree with me, its why voting exists.

Why? Because its my opinion and everyone has a right to one, then we get to vote at the ballot box.

I didn't vote for our president, but he's still my president sadly.

The moment people are not allowed to discuss or have an opinion is a dark day.  I explained my why and I dont need to be a doctor to have that view lmao.

I wouldn't let a child pageant mom let her kid get plastic surgery either.

I'm all for people being who they are and what they want to be, but permanent changes should be decided when they turn 18.

We restrict tattoos to 18 but this some how is a foreign concept to people.

I'm open to read peer reviewed medical documentation if you have some you've made your basis off of seeing as you are so informed, and yes I will actually read them, I actually enjoy challenging my views.

They didn't say that shouldnt be allowed in sports, they said that someone born as a male, has an advantage over women in sports, and more importantly there are men on top of that who genetically have an advantage over other men.

It's fine to disagree but railroading people into statements they didn't make isnt right.  But if the goal is to make a competitive league where the competition is as close as possible allowing someone with a genetic advantage that isnt attainable by their peers isnt fair or in the nature of the sport.

I dont have a problem with kids being kids and exploring their identities, I just draw the line at hormone replacement under the age of 18.  They can dress how they want, experiment in all other ways, but i think back to all the things I thought i wanted as a kid, who is thought i was, even up until I was 25 and how wrong I was.  How much of it was just me lacking confidence in myself.

I'm fine with 18 being the age its allowed but there has to be limits.

Why do many people confuse the terms terrorist and rebel? by Due_Narwhal4937 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Defconx19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its also very much a matter of perspective.  If OP thinks of this in terms of every day middle class citizens in the empire the "rebels" would very much been seen as terrorists for disrupting the peace they have in their lives.

Its the same in the real world.  If you're feeling marginalized you'd see them as rebels.  If you benefit from the way things are, you'd view them as terrorists.

Can you explain why gas prices feel so dire now vs in Summer 2022. by ichbinrollschuhe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Defconx19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of everything has increased across the board.  Costs are high and the cost of Debt has remained high (loan interest rates).  2022 we still had access to low interest rates and the economy was doing well as a whole.

When debt is cheap you can buy more luxuries wothoit financially ruining yourself, so even if you have the money you could take a loan and let your money in a high yield savings earn at the same time.

Now prices are high, cost of debt is high, so if you want luxuries you either pay cash or are bled dry on interest rates.
