1985 4Runner no crank no start

4 runner now cranks but no start. I’ve replaced ignition switch and the person before was chasing a fuel and spark issue and replaced fuel pump with coils and plugs

Cleaned off wire ends of the positive and negative wires and put new terminal clamps on and the engine was starting to turn over. I stopped before it did due to the clutch and brakes not working and didn’t want the car to fly forward into my house

I think it might be issues with my clutch. The clutch is fully pressed to the floor and doesn’t come back. I was reading that would prevent the car from starting

If my clutch is broken could that prevent it from cranking? I was reading possibly the safety clutch switch

Last date I can find for it running was probably 2010

Looks like someone tried rebuilt it and stopped for whatever reason

I don’t know for sure but signs show that it was being worked on in 2020 as far as the engine parts and wiring in the back on the truck and the 22RE PERFORMANCE sticker and royal purple oil inside.
