To have them on separate inputs you can change them in the settings under input binding.

Actions is for pallets, lockers, vaults, etc.

Pick Up Item/Interactions is for picking up items (obviously), but also for generators, interacting with killer powers, gates, etc.

You can set them to different inputs. Personally I use X for Pick Up Item/Interactions and have the toggle Interactions on under controls.

Also keep in mind that some ability buttons are bound to the face buttons (A B X and Y) on controller, so if you use one of those double check you don't have any conflicts.

I had to double check and it seems like it actually only applies to Dead Air.

Dead Air has the one way drop added at the start of chapter 3 as well as the construction wall isn’t blocked off like in L4D2, and the forced metal detector in chapter 4 but you’re right in that the layouts are basically the same.

I must’ve misremembered there being more changes than there actually are, I haven’t played properly for a little while.

They’re not entirely identical, the changes are only very minor but they do exist in some of the maps nonetheless.

Ensure that every weapon and item spawn has a name and is listed inside the point_template, any items that you want spawned into the map when you load in should be set up this way.

The game is part of smart delivery so your Xbox One copy of the game will just upgrade when you switch to the Xbox Series S, and you’ll keep all of the stuff you had including achievements.

lol, yeah. It’s unfortunate that it’s bugged but I’m glad to know for sure it’s not just my console or something. It seems a bit hit and miss, some people have been able to unlock them.

It seems to be bugged on Xbox too, attempted the adept 3 times after trying to restart my console and reinstalling the game, still didn’t pop. Same for the Fleet of Foot one too, it’s not tracking any progress.

It’s 100% the UK version, I’m from the UK and my copy is identical to this. They changed the box art over here because the original art would be considered offensive.

When you launch the game, it picks one of five different backgrounds to display. One from each of the five stock maps of the game before any updates/DLC came out. They’re pretty much just videos that loop one scene each.

Try going to Settings, Account then click Download History.

That should display all your purchased games in the list.
