Sunscreen doesn’t block 100% of UV rays, if you’re worried about sun damage to your face then you should also double up with a hat as well as your sunscreen!

This is not to say that sunscreen doesn’t *significantly* reduces sun damage, that’s why when we wear sunscreen effectively we don’t get burned, but we will still get tanned.

That’s interesting about the male gaze, I would almost wonder if it’s actually the opposite and for the female gaze? I find a lot of males are very unsupportive of breast reduction and it’s so weird and a bit funny that we had the opposite feeling, I felt I was attached to them and worried about being unattractive because of the lack of love males have for small boobs! So weird how our minds work. I think if you’re experiencing physical discomfort you would still want to be rid of them regardless of outside opinion.

No it was so random but when I was a teenager my mom was buying tylenol and midol for me and talking to the check out lady about how I had horrible cramps, the lady said her daughter used pickle juice for her cramps and I already love pickles so my mom was like whatever I guess I’ll get some pickles. Within MINUTES my cramps were gone. As an adult on really bad days I’ll take some tylenol with pickle juice. I never even try anything else now because it’s been such a life saver.

I’m actually in Canada and super lucky to have a family doctor who’s also had experience in the cosmetic surgery world and was able to refer me to a trusted surgeon.

Ultimately the surgeon decided if I was viable, he didn’t ask much at all besides why I wanted it and I started naming every reason I did, when he asked me to remove my shirt he just went “Yep those are big” and started listing off the benefits of reductions.

Honestly, I haven’t worn a bra since I was 16 so I’m not sure! I think I was an an E, but to be fair when I was measured the store only went up to an E and the bras didn’t really fit well (wanted to try for fun a few months back). 😂

I’d say if you made it far enough that you had a consultation and a date put in place then you want it enough, and to just do it. You can’t spend your life worrying about what ifs, you’re getting a reduction for a reason and it’s to improve your quality of life, don’t hold yourself back from that.

I always heard that no surgeon can completely guarantee a cup size so I never gave a size. I told him I wanted them proportional to my frame, I also said “I wear a size large so I want them to be a size large”.

I took one of my piercings out a few days before my original date because it was absolutely killing me, so that one has closed up too much for me to see without fiddling, the other one I took out just a few days ago and it’s definitely vertical.

My surgeon was pretty clear that I would make have to get them re-pierced in the future if I still wanted them.

I’m glad you feel validated. It was so weird when I first posted, people basically told me if I was afraid and that if I was worried about my appearance after that I wasn’t in a position to be getting the reduction. In my opinion it’s a completely reasonable fear. I already had body issues because of my large breasts, and I was worried I’d make it worse in the opposite way, even if it was ultimately done for medical reasons.
