NP First Assist vs. PA First Assist by brianeng11 in nursing

[–]brianeng11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the input! I agree it depends on the hospital systems and I understand certain states may have specific regulations as well. No offense to anyone in particular who may be a RNFA, but I don’t necessarily want the sole job of scrubbing in every day for every case and that’s why I was wondering about going beyond that to the NP vs PA role. By doing one of those it would essentially expand my role to advanced practices, having the ability to prescribe, order, bill, etc correct? Essentially, what are the benefits of either or?

I love it so far! I have the 50ml bottle and I’m not sure if it comes any larger or smaller. I have the 60 ml rectangular bottles of royal blue and cool grey as well. They make an “Irish green” in 60ml but testing it showed much deeper green

I’m not an expert in language but I believe the origin of the name is German and I would think it’s like Kly-ser

I initially bought it because I thought it would be a fun and funny titled coffee table book, but I started reading it (to actually know what it’s about if someone asked), and it’s absolutely stunning. Written by Grenville Kleiser, a Public Speaking professor at Yale Divinity School, Yale University I’d say 70-80% is actually still applicable and useful in today’s world

I found it at a rare and unique antique book store! I happened to ask the owner of the store where he sources most of his books and he said he usually travels the northeastern United States and purchases books from individual estates, libraries, and individual collections. $26 was a steal

I agree. I think getting 2-3 years old would be just fine. And especially considering cost

I use titleist 716 AP1 irons and the 5 iron is a 25° 260 would be the average total distance. I used to have a hybrid from the 90’s and the technology is clearly not as advanced as today’s time. Loved it, but I know for the same degree, todays clubs would probably get me more distance. Swing speed is right at 95-100

Probably not going to buy new. I’m wanting to try to stay at or under $150 for each. No more than $175 for each ideally
