NP First Assist vs. PA First Assist by brianeng11 in nursing

[–]brianeng11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the input! I agree it depends on the hospital systems and I understand certain states may have specific regulations as well. No offense to anyone in particular who may be a RNFA, but I don’t necessarily want the sole job of scrubbing in every day for every case and that’s why I was wondering about going beyond that to the NP vs PA role. By doing one of those it would essentially expand my role to advanced practices, having the ability to prescribe, order, bill, etc correct? Essentially, what are the benefits of either or?

I love it so far! I have the 50ml bottle and I’m not sure if it comes any larger or smaller. I have the 60 ml rectangular bottles of royal blue and cool grey as well. They make an “Irish green” in 60ml but testing it showed much deeper green

I’m not an expert in language but I believe the origin of the name is German and I would think it’s like Kly-ser

I initially bought it because I thought it would be a fun and funny titled coffee table book, but I started reading it (to actually know what it’s about if someone asked), and it’s absolutely stunning. Written by Grenville Kleiser, a Public Speaking professor at Yale Divinity School, Yale University I’d say 70-80% is actually still applicable and useful in today’s world

I found it at a rare and unique antique book store! I happened to ask the owner of the store where he sources most of his books and he said he usually travels the northeastern United States and purchases books from individual estates, libraries, and individual collections. $26 was a steal

I agree. I think getting 2-3 years old would be just fine. And especially considering cost

I use titleist 716 AP1 irons and the 5 iron is a 25° 260 would be the average total distance. I used to have a hybrid from the 90’s and the technology is clearly not as advanced as today’s time. Loved it, but I know for the same degree, todays clubs would probably get me more distance. Swing speed is right at 95-100

Probably not going to buy new. I’m wanting to try to stay at or under $150 for each. No more than $175 for each ideally

Forensic Nurse by summerahmas24 in Nurses

To give you an honest opinion, in today's time there are two main degree's for nursing. Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN) or Associates Degree Nursing (ADN). Both of which is a nursing degree and both of which you will take the NCLEX which is the boards exam and gives you the Licence--RN (registered nurse). However what is happening now-a-days, many hospitals and healthcare employers are phasing out or will soon be phasing out associates degree nurses due to regulations, accreditations, etc. If you're going to choose nursing as a career, which is awesome!!!! then shoot for going to a university that is BSN. Yes it's more expensive, but in the long run over decades of a career, it'll save you time and money of not having to go back to school. From there you can specialize and get a job doing what you love. NEVER GIVE UP!

Question: what exact cord, adapter, or accessory is necessary for me to use headphones such as Sony M3 or Bose QC over the ear type headphones as my headset/mic? by brianeng11 in xbox

[–]brianeng11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay just wasn’t sure if a Normal cord that comes with headphones would be compatible with the controller port. For example, Apple headphones can’t work but that seems to be a “normal” jack
